How To Save Electricity

The modern age has given us a lot of expenses. Today, many of us are just get hooked up with credit cards and lending money from banks or investors because of the fact that there isn't enough money to provide everything for you and your family. To relieve the burden of ballooning expenses every month you need to know and learn some tips on how to save. Cut off your expenses spent for electric bills. How?

* Try to think about the practicality of your house' size, the number of people living in it then, match it with the electric lights, appliances and gadgets you will be needing. If only one bulb is needed in your bathroom you don't have to install 3 or 4. If there are only 2-3 people living in your house, don't buy a big fridge.

* Don't forget to turn off the light, air conditioner, heater, if no one is using them. Better yet, you can use electric fans instead of air conditioner.

* Make sure that your AC or heater is cleaned every 4 months so that it won't lose its efficiency of cooling/heating. When it's dusty it won't cool nor heat that fast.

* When you go out from your house secure that your computer is on sleep mode and unplug all appliances that you don't use yet.

* When everybody will go to sleep turn off the lights. A television with a programmed timer is better so that when you're watching TV and you have fallen asleep it will turn off for at most an hour.

* When the weather is fine and you're washing clothes, you can have them dry by hanging them outside than using the washing machine's dryer.

* You can save electricity when you use a fabric conditioner when you wash your clothes since you don't have to iron them.

* If you seldom drink hot tea or coffee preserve your hot water in a thermos rather than turning on the water heater and use a bit of its content leaving it cold again.

* A better dish washing soap should be used so that you don't need to set hot water temperature which uses more electricity than the normal tap water.

* If you want to heat up something using your microwave better to heat the food that needs the same temperature all together.

* Practice cooking on the right cookware to maximize the heat from the cooking stove.

You may not have a salary increase but for sure with the foregoing tips you'll have to increase your earnings by a lesser electric bill at the end of the month.
